November is a very special month. It’s the time of year when
people purposefully take the time to reflect on all the things they are thankful for. The
Bible it filled with verses of scripture solely devoted to giving thanks to our Almighty God
for his glorious blessings. I have compiled a list of thanksgiving verses to reflect on; one
for each day of the month. The verses are divided into weeks and since today is
the first day of November and there are only three days left in the week, here
are the first three verses.
Week One
Thursday, November 1, 2012 – Psalm 69:30
I will praise the name of God with a song. And will magnify
Him with thanksgiving.
Friday, November 2, 2012 – 1
Chronicles 16:34
Oh, give thanks
to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.
Saturday, November 3, 2012 –
Colossians 2:6-7
As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so
walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you
have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.
